Deadly CAMPS is a Social Enterprise whose vision is to make a difference in kids’ lives.

For indigenous kids it’s about creating opportunities through sport and fair access to sporting equipment. Promoting school, healthy living and all the benefits that come from sports participation.

For non-indigenous kids, it’s about creating cultural immersion programs that build cultural awareness, respect and pride in our first nations people.

For everybody involved, it’s about creating better humans and fostering a life-long love and respect for first nations culture.

DEADLY RUGBY HAS THREE PARTS:

DEADLY AFTER SCHOOL

  • A program promoting school attendance, healthy activity, and getting a good night’s sleep. Connecting kids in indigenous communities with local sporting clubs to link school attendance with food programs and sport. Current Dhupuma Barker partnership with NTRU & EARU. Making a difference in communities.

DEADLY GEAR

  • Some kids in regional communities don’t have fair access to some of the sporting equipment basics. Schools & clubs as part of the program, support these kids by bringing gear up with them to donate and put in the hands of kids that need it. Part of Deadly Camps is about nurturing a sense of community and ‘giving back’.

DEADLY CULTURAL IMMERSION CAMPS

  • Incredible First Nations Cultural Immersion experience: creating better people.

Visit breathtaking country: a trip of a lifetime.

Giving back to the community: Integrated training – developing local players and coaches by letting them train and coach alongside you.

Games: Playing schools that you wouldn’t get a chance to play.

Connect: Build real connections as you tour, train and play with kids from different cultures for a side by side, lived cultural experience.

Inspire kids to learn from local indigenous elders and from current and ex-professional players.
